The results of the 2000 Census show that the City of Conyers population has increased from 9,622 in 1990 to 10,689. During this period, Rockdale County was one of the fastest growing counties in the State of Georgia. Approximately 15 percent of the Rockdale County population resides in the City of Conyers. Rockdale County is the second smallest county in the State of Georgia and Conyers is the only city within the county.
