The mission of this department is to promote a healthy, vibrant and beautiful city through planned growth and community initiatives, which do not strain the resources or livability of the City of Conyers by:

• Having a diversified economy that expands through quality growth
• Locating new business and industry that make capital investments into the community
• Insuring that existing business stay, prosper and expand creating quality employment and higher means of living, and
• Developing and expanding community programs throughout the city that increase the public safety, health, education and overall development of its citizens.
