Planning and Inspection Services

The City of Conyers Planning and Inspection Services Department provides a wide range of services that enhance the quality of life for the businesses and citizens of Conyers. This department handles the issuance of building permits, granting of alcohol beverage licensing, inspections and code enforcement.  The department also oversees the comprehensive land use plan and works with the Historic Preservation Commission, based out of the department.  Other priorities of the department include updating ordinances, reviewing plans, sign regulations, overlays and historic preservation overlays as needed.
