"Farce of Habit" presented by the New Depot Players

If you enjoyed Dearly Departed and The Dixie Swim Club, you'll love the comic fireworks in Farce of Habit, an absurdly funny Southern-fried romp by Jones Hope Wooten. The proprietor of the Reel 'Em Inn fishing lodge, D. Gene Wilburn, is looking forward to a peaceful weekend on the lake. But there are only two chances of that happening: slim and none. If his family isn't enough to thwart D. Gene's weekend plans, he's got a gaggle of nuns who've covered on the inn, hell-bent on experiencing a nature retreat. Oh, and did we mention there's an axe murderer on the loose?

The New Depot Players present "Farce of Habit" February 21-23 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, Feb. 24 at 3 p.m. Directed by Cyndi Evans. For more information and tickets, visit
