Conyers PD Satisfaction Survey Available Year-Round
Over the past several years, the Conyers Police Department has conducted an annual service satisfaction survey that was only available for a few weeks. Results have been limited to an average of a little over 100 responses even though the population is more than 15,000 residents and more than 80,000 visitors per day within the jurisdiction of the city of Conyers. During the Conyers Police Department’s annual planning meeting held earlier this month, the results of the survey were discussed. While mostly positive, it is not a true reflection of the public’s opinions of the service the CPD provides for its citizens and community members as a whole. After input from department personnel, it was decided to make this survey open to the public throughout the year. By running a continuous survey, citizens may comment on the service the CPD provides as they encounter personnel. By keeping the survey open throughout the year, it is the CPD's hope that more accurate results that reflect daily operations can be obtained, thereby allowing the evaluation of the services provided in order to remain progressive and attentive to the changing needs of the community.
The 2017 online survey is available and will run until February 28, 2018 at midnight. The link to the survey is available at www.conyerspolice.com. Paper surveys are available for citizens to complete. These will be available at CPD headquarters, 1194 Scott Street SE, and North Annex, 1258 Irwin Bridge Road, beginning June 1, 2017.
