Air Transportation

A public airport is located in Covington in Newton County. The Covington Municipal Airport has a 4,200 foot bituminous runway. Some of the service and navigational aids include: aircraft tie down, airframe, and power plant repair, hanger, and lighted runway. Covington Municipal Airport is approximately 20 miles from Conyers.

Rapid Rail Transportation

The closest MARTA location to Conyers is the Indian Creek station which is approximately 35 minutes away. To get to the station, take I- 20 West to 285-North. Follow 285 to the Indian Creek MARTA Station exit.

Clean Air Campaign (Car Pool)

The Clean Air Campaign is a not-for-profit organization that works to reduce traffic congestion and improve air quality through a variety of voluntary programs and services, including car pools and van pools. Participants sign up for the program via phone or the website and the organization locates a ride share partner(s). The organization locates people in the same area that the participant shares similar work hours with. The organization also offers monetary benefits for using their program, a Guaranteed Ride Home program, and information on telecommuting and smog alerts. Transportation is provided to older residents for the following purposes:
