The Conyers Police Department offers Rockdale County middle and high school youth, ages 12-17, the opportunity to learn about police work firsthand. Junior Cadets participate in a week-long program covering a variety of topics taught by CPD officers. 

The program includes learning about patrol techniques, constitutional rights, traffic enforcement, crime scene investigation, judicial procedures, and defensive tactics. Deadline to submit an application, available at https://www.conyersga.com/government/conyers-police, is May25, 2026.
