Drummond Named Chief Financial Officer

Post Date:04/29/2026 9:19 AM

Ashley Drummond has been named Chief Financial Officer for the City of Conyers by resolution of the Conyers City Council. She succeeds Isabel Rogers, who retired on April 16 after 37 years of dedicated service.

Drummond joined the city of Conyers in 2024 as a financial analyst and has more than 25 years of experience in public and private accounting. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and a Master of Accounting degree from Georgia Southern University. Drummond is a member of the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) and the Georgia Government Finance Officers Association (GGFOA).

“Ashley brings a proven record of financial expertise, strategic insight, and collaborative leadership. Her contributions have already strengthened the department, and she steps into the CFO role with the experience, innovation, and dedication needed to guide the city’s financial future,” said City Manager Kameron Kelley.

As CFO, Drummond is responsible for all financial operations of the city including cash management, investments, accounts receivable and payable, payroll, customer service, budget process and a preparation of the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report. She also oversees the departments of Finance, Human Resources, and Court Services.

“Isabel Rogers leaves a remarkable legacy, consistently delivering balanced budgets while championing fiscal responsibility, transparency, and strong reserve levels that safeguard the city’s future,” said Kelley. “Decades of GFOA financial awards and numerous grant successes under Isabel’s tenure reflect the strength of the foundation she helped build—one that also includes Ashley’s meaningful contributions. We’re excited to see how Ashley’s leadership will elevate the city in the years ahead.”
