Sadina Jurgens has been appointed Deputy Director of Finance for the City of Conyers by City Manager Kameron Kelley. She succeeds Yvonne Glumb, who retired on May 15 after 26 years of service.

Jurgens joined the city in 1995 and has served in a variety of roles including customer service, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, as a budget analyst, financial analyst and in business operations at Cherokee Run Golf Club. She holds numerous certificates related to governmental accounting and finance and is active in the Government Finance Officers Association and the Georgia Government Finance Officers Association.     

“Sadina’s extensive experience, institutional knowledge, and consistent dedication over the years makes her the prefect person to step into the role of deputy director,” said City Manager Kameron Kelley.

As deputy director, Jurgens is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Finance Department and works closely with Chief Financial Officer Ashley Drummond on the city’s accounting and financial operations.  

“Assuming the deputy director of finance position is equal parts privilege and responsibility,” said Jurgens. “I’m excited to continue collaborating with the finance team and city leadership as we are constantly working towards maintaining a strong, stable, and sustainable financial foundation for the city.”
