1) Celebration Park Renovation

The Conyers City Council is seeking proposals from qualified contractors interested in providing all labor, materials, and equipment for the Celebration Park Renovation, located at 949 NE Main Street, Conyers, GA 30012. Bids will be accepted until the bid opening date and time on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. EST at the City of Conyers, located at 901 O’Kelly Street, Conyers, Georgia 30012. A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on Monday, September 15, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. EST. located at the City of Conyers (Public Meeting Room) located at 901 O’Kelly Street, Conyers, Georgia 30012. Submit questions and/or requests for clarifications regarding this bid no later than Thursday, September 18, 2025 by 5:00 p.m. EST. Written responses will be issued in an addendum. A 5% Bid Bond will be required. Prior to contract execution, a Payment and Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the Contract will be required from the awarded bidder.

2) PI #0021221 Request for Qualifications to Provide Engineering Design Services

The City of Conyers, GA is soliciting Statement of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified firm(s) or organization(s) to provide engineering design services for GDOT PI #0021221, a transportation alternatives project (TAP) providing community enhancement and connectivity via the construction of sidewalks along Green Street, beginning at the western city limits and extending to West Avenue, approximately 0.78 mile. More specifically, Green Street has sections of narrow sidewalks that do not meet ADA compliance. The intent of the project is to build new ADA compliant sidewalks where they do not currently exist and replace the sidewalks where they do exist that do not meet ADA compliance. Retaining walls and drainage upgrades along the length of the corridor will be needed as well as driveway apron replacements to allow for ADA compliance. This project will require utility relocation for utilities that conflict with the sidewalk and right of way acquisition to construct and maintain the sidewalk.

3) Request for Qualifications for Livable Centers Initiative in Olde Town Conyers

The City of Conyers, GA is updating its Livable Centers Initiative (LCI) Plan for the physical development and redevelopment of Olde Town Conyers and invites qualified consultants to respond to this proposal. Qualified consultants shall have proven expertise in current and future land use planning, ordinance drafting, economic development, place making, demography, emerging trends, community visioning, and public engagement. The selected consultant will be responsible for the management and execution of this project, including implementing quality community engagement, communicating with staff, and producing the required final documents. Proposals will be accepted until December 1, 2025 @ 3:00 PM EST. The request for proposal document can be obtained at https://conyers.box.com/s/i92rt7ixiodtzofyyk4vm1nsbl8jfehw.
