City of Conyers Youth Council

City of Conyers Sponsor: City Manager Kameron Kelley

Purpose: The Conyers Youth Council is designed to encourage effective youth engagement in the city of Conyers and to provide an opportunity for youth voices to communicate directly with local government leadership. The council will focus on issues involving youth in our community and develop initiatives to address the concerns. 

Application Process: The City of Conyers Youth Council is comprised of Rockdale County High School (RCHS) students who are in grades 11-12 and in good standing. The council will meet once a month during the school day. Bus transportation will be provided from RCHS to Conyers City Hall at 901 O'Kelly Street. The term of the appointed youth councilmember will expire the last day of the school year.
